With approximately 8 billion people in the world, we are constantly surrounded with people who are different than we are.
A different upbringing, a different view of life, a different skin color.
There is so much we don’t understand about someone else’s experience.
Especially if it’s vastly different than ours.
Which offers us an opportunity to ask questions, to seek to understand, and to learn.
But where do we start?
Sometimes the process of getting to know someone’s worldview that’s different than yours is so overwhelming it becomes paralyzing.
We freeze rather than pursue with curiosity.
